Dear Yolo County Residents,
After serving a term on the Yolo County Board of Supervisors, I have been strongly encouraged by family, friends, and community members, to run for re-election. I will continue the path of supporting local farmers and workers while protecting prime agricultural land. The historic profile of our agricultural community is intertwined with the economic prosperity of every rural town including the City of Woodland. We help feed the state and world. As a former Mayor, Council Member, and current County Supervisor, I’ve been a strong advocate of protecting prime agriculture, investing in infrastructure projects, increasing public safety resources, and funding, increasing access to public health, and mitigating homelessness. We must address the ongoing need for road repairs, create jobs, and work collaboratively with school districts and our incredible nonprofit partners so our children can be college bound or skill trade ready. Our seniors and populations in great need, need experienced leadership to continuing working for them. I have the experience, relationships, and energy to work extremely hard to propel residents of Yolo County to a brighter future.
